What we collect, and what we do not

We respect the public's time and the public's privacy. This notice explains, in plain language, what data this website collects, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can, and we do not sell it.

Analytics, only if you accept

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how this site is used, for example which pages people read and roughly where visitors come from. Analytics does not run, and no analytics cookies are set, unless you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply never choose, Google Analytics is never loaded.

When enabled, Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address (Google does not log or store your full IP address in GA4), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not enable Google's advertising features, and we do not use this data to target ads.

When you contact us

If you use our contact form, we collect the name, organization, email address, topic, and message you provide. We use this only to respond to you and, where relevant, to evaluate and carry out work. Form submissions are processed and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, and reach us by email. A hidden anti-spam field is used to reduce automated submissions; it does not collect anything about you.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser user agent) to serve pages, keep the site secure, and operate the service. This happens for every visitor, independent of analytics consent.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies until you accept analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure usage. We do not use advertising, social, or cross-site tracking cookies. Your consent choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so we can honor it on your next visit.

Third parties we rely on

• Google Analytics (Google LLC), for usage analytics, only with your consent.
• Netlify (Netlify, Inc.), for website hosting and contact form handling.

Each operates under its own privacy terms. We do not share your data with anyone for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How long we keep data

Contact submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond and, where it leads to work, for the life of that engagement and our normal business records. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. You can ask us to delete information you have sent us at any time.

Your choices

• Decline analytics, or accept and change your mind later, from the cookie banner.
• Browse with no analytics at all; the site works fully either way.
• Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected].

Children

This site is intended for government and organizational audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes to analytics or third parties will be reflected in the cookie banner as well.
